2009 - 2010 Seasons

Touchdown Club Meeting -- Monday, April 19, 2010, at the PHS Fieldhouse.  Meeting time is 6:30 PM.  Make plans to attend.

The Plainview Tip-Off Club will meet on Sunday, October 4 at 2:00 PM in the DeKalb County Schools Coliseum, Plainview Arena, to elect new officers and discuss the upcoming basketball season.  For more information contact Wayne Poole at 717-9661.

The Plainview Lady Bear Basketball Teams are sponsoring  a Spaghetti Dinner on Friday, Sept. 25, 2009.  Tickets cost $6.00 and the  dinner includes spaghetti, salad, bread, drink and dessert.  Plates will be served from 4:00 - 6:45 PM in the PHS Cafeteria. You can buy tickets from any member of the Lady Bears Basketball teams or call the school at 256-638-3510.  All proceeds go to support the PHS Lady Bears Basketball Teams.  

There will be a Touchdown Club meeting on Tuesday, September 15 at 6:30 at the football field concession stand.  Everyone is encouraged to attend to make sure we are ready for the homecoming game and events.  Also, all spirit items and t-shirts will be on sale at the homecoming pep rally on Thursday.  Make sure to get your spirit items to show your Bear Spirit.

The 9th Annual Plainview Baseball Golf Tournament will be on September 3, 2009, at 1:00 PM at Terrapin Hills in Fort Payne.  Cost to participate is $65 per player or $260 per team.  The tournament will be a four man scramble.  Lunch will be served at 11:00 AM.  Awards include $500 for 1st place, $300 for 2nd place and $200 for 3rd place.
