The Football Jamboree has be rescheduled to Friday night, May 16, 2008.  Game time is still at 7:00 PM.

The Plainview Football team will host Boaz in a Jamboree on Thursday, May 15, 2008, at 7:00 PM.  Varsity, Junior Varsity and 9th Grade teams will participate.  Come out and see a preview of our 2008 Plainview Bears.

The Plainview Touchdown Club will hold a meeting on Thursday, April 24, 2007, at 6:30 PM.   The meeting will be held in the Football Field House.  Everyone try to attend.  New president Teddy Haymon will conduct the meeting.

The 1st Annual PHS Girls Basketball Golf Tournament will be held at the Rainsville Golf & Country Club on April 17, 2008.

Lunch will be held at 11:00 AM and the tournament will begin at 1:00 PM. The cost is $150 per team or $50 per participant.

The field is limited to 22 teams.  Cash prizes will be awarded to the top five teams.  Closest to the pin as well as door prizes will be offered.

The Plainview Athletic Club is currently accepting $100 donations in order to raise money for their sports departments.  Each person that donates $100 will receive a ticket stub and will automatically be entered into a drawing with a Grand Prize worth $10,000.  The drawing will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2008, at 6:00 pm at the DeKalb County Schools Coliseum (The Civic Center).  A meal is included at the drawing to everyone who has entered.  Four hundred tickets will be drawn.  Every 10th ticket, beginning with the 1st ticket, will receive a $100 prize.  The final 10 tickets drawn from the pot will receive larger monetary prizes, culminating with the $10,000 prize awarded to the 400th ticket.  See any of the Plainview Coaches to purchase an entry stub.
